Properties of a parallelogram ll Cbse NCERT class 9 maths Chapter quadrilaterals
Properties of parallelograms
One special kind of polygons is called a parallelogram. It is a quadrilateral where both pairs of opposite sides are parallel.
There are six important properties of parallelograms to know:
- Opposite sides are congruent (AB = DC).
- Opposite angels are congruent (D = B).
- Consecutive angles are supplementary (A + D = 180°).
- If one angle is right, then all angles are right.
- The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.
- Each diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent

Solve Magic square 3x3 amazing maths trick
Magic squares have grown in popularity with the advent of mathematics-based games like Sudoku. A magic square is an arrangement of numbers in a square in such a way that the sum of each row, column, and diagonal is one constant number, the so-called "magic constant." This article will tell you how to solve any type of magic square, whether odd-numbered, singly even-numbered, or doubly-even numbered.
Cross multiplication method ll pair of linear equations with two variables ll CBSE class 10
Cross Multiplication- Pair Of Linear Equations In Two Variables
The solution of the equations is given as:
The condition for consistency of pair of linear equation in two variables must be checked which are as follows:
- If
a1a2 ≠b1b2 , then we get a unique solution and the pair of linear equations in two variables are consistent. - If
a1a2 =b1b2 =c1c2 , then there exists infinitely many solutions and the pair of lines are coincident and therefore, dependent and consistent. - If
a1a2 =b1b2 ≠c1c2 , then there exists no solution and the pair of linear equations in two variables are said to be inconsistent.
