Detailed Solutions with Tricks (New Syllabus)

5. Trick: Numbers between n² and (n+1)² = 2n. So between 8² and 9² = 2×8=16 numbers.

10. 32=2×2×2×2×2 = 2⁴×2. To make pairs, need one more 2. 32×2=64=8².

18. 17²=289, 18²=324, so √300 is between 17-18. Estimation is new in 2026-27 book.

19. Important Pattern for new book: Sum of cubes = (sum of numbers)². 1+8+27=36 and (1+2+3)²=36.

20. 100 has 2 zeros, square doubles zeros: 100²=10000 has 4 zeros.
